Let’s get to know each other: ELVA – Your future job and internship

On March 17, 2023, the Career Day 2023 organized by Riga Technical University (RTU) took place for the 20th time in a row with the aim of informing students of engineering, natural and social sciences about the best and strongest companies in the respective fields, as well as bringing them closer to potential internships and employers. ELVA was among the 110 employers who were open to communication with the potential employee. The day passed brightly, with meaningful conversations and entertaining activities. Youth had the opportunity to play table soccer with their potential manager and spin the wheel of fortune to win an exciting prize.

Paid internship and remote or hybrid work

The company ELVA will offer future representatives of the IT industry, who showed interest in developing their professional skills directly with us during the event, to implement an internship that will be paid, combined with studies and that can be done remotely or in a hybrid work model. In parallel with the internship, ELVA will provide the full support of a knowledgeable individual mentor who will take care of the trainee’s growth.

Almost 200 Latvian university students, high school seniors or other interested parties said YES to the opportunity to apply for a paid internship at ELVA. 26% of them want to do an internship in IT project management, 22% in IT administration, and most – 45% – directly in programming.

In the spring, those interested will be invited to participate in speed dating with their supervisors. During the talks, they will have the opportunity to ask questions and familiarize themselves with their work duties in more detail, so that they can soon start their training and take part in the implementation or maintenance of Microsoft business solutions in various Latvian organizations.
