Initially the company used Microsoft Excel for creating and viewing reports, but the process of report creation was complex, tiring and time-consuming. Therefore the company was looking for ways how to make the process simpler and more efficient.
The Microsoft Power BI analytics tool was selected as the most suitable solution. The ELVA specialists created the data exchange structure – data obtained from the Horizon system were imported into Power BI where they were transformed into data visualizations. As a result, the MEISTARS employees and management obtained reports that allowed analyzing sales data and understanding the sales process for each group of products.
Creating reports no longer requires hours of work. After implementing Microsoft Power BI, the process requires just minutes. The most frequently used Power BI report is for the cash-box income, and the most popular Power BI function is the unified data representation.
