The Dynamics 365 Production Floor function acts as a unified platform where all current tasks are visible to everyone. Information does not need to be transferred from system to system—once data enters Dynamics 365, it is visible to anyone relevant. The Dynamics 365 Production Floor ensures automatic resource planning, and every production order has a clear status visible from creation to realization.
Based on the production task, routes and issuance logs are created. Manual work is eliminated in the production process—employees only need to adjust and control processes (e.g., register break times or request equipment repairs), while managers can monitor employee performance and workload, as well as equipment utilization. The system also provides timely warnings about unexpected situations, such as equipment stoppages, allowing management to easily reschedule production orders within the system.
Warehouse inventory movement is managed using scanners, significantly improving inventory control. Warehouse employees scan work tasks, which then appear on their work tablets in order of priority. Employees can only scan the specifically selected item, preventing errors during loading. All information processed by the scanners is sent to Dynamics 365, allowing logistics staff to immediately see, for example, which item has just been loaded for delivery. This ensures that the correct items are delivered to customers, providing a sense of security and reliability.
The most utilized features of Dynamics 365 Sales include the dashboard, which visualizes all sales KPIs, the sales pipeline, and reminders. The functional capabilities of the solution allow for managing all customer-related information and facilitate convenient project management, eliminating the possibility of missing important details or losing information. In other words, salespeople maintain their focus on priorities without forgetting less critical tasks at the moment.
