The company has branches in both capital cities and regional areas across the three Baltic states – Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. The Panorama 365 portal is a solution that unites all employees on a single platform. The portal integrates with each country's ERP or payroll solution, such as Dynamics 365 Business Central in Latvia. It serves as the central connecting element, consolidating all information about the company's employees in one place.
The interaction between solutions ensures that data does not need to be entered manually in each system separately. When information is updated in the ERP system, such as Business Central, the changes are automatically reflected in the Panorama 365 portal. Conversely, when an employee enters information in the portal, it is immediately transferred to the ERP system and becomes visible to the accountant.
The ERP solution Dynamics 365 Business Central ensures accuracy for accountants in payroll calculations, advance payments, and leave tracking. Payroll-related calculations comply with the regulatory requirements of each country and are forwarded to the appropriate state institution (in Latvia – the State Revenue Service, VID).
HR department employees can independently create user roles, assign permissions, and organize various workflows. Thanks to the design of Panorama 365, the solution is easy to learn and use in daily operations without the need for training or instructions.
Department managers have access to all information about their team members and their absences. Company employees can easily view relevant information, such as their payslip, work schedule, employment history, contact details, or even find out when a colleague’s birthday is.
Every employee can easily request vacation without the need for forms or physical approvals. Each request follows a predefined approval workflow established by the company in collaboration with the portal developer, ELVA. Once the manager approves the absence, the requester immediately receives a confirmation notification.
Department managers can easily plan their employees' work schedules or shifts. These schedules are also accessible to all team members in the portal, which is especially useful in a hybrid work environment.
The daily pace demands quick responses, and the portal delivers just that—employees can request vacations or view up-to-date information without needing to access a computer. Everything can be done quickly and easily on a mobile phone.

In the future, the company plans to enhance the portal's functionality with modules for goal management, task management, and surveys (e.g., to measure job satisfaction).
The biggest benefit for HR managers is having satisfied employees who recognize that many processes have improved and become more convenient. Previously, detailed instructions were required to use HR solutions, but learning Panorama 365 was intuitive and did not require dedicated training time. The Panorama 365 portal enhances communication between employees and managers, as well as among team members. The advantage of automating administrative tasks through the portal allows management to focus on strategically important matters, such as employee development and well-being.
A particularly valuable decision was moving away from traditional Excel-based reports, which made it challenging to access real-time statistical data. Power BI consolidates and visualizes information relevant to both HR managers and department heads, such as reports on budgets, headcount, role changes, and employee turnover. All this data is aggregated from company resources and updated daily by the solution.
The time from the initial idea for the Panorama 365 portal to its implementation, along with the ERP solution Business Central, and their full integration into daily operations took only six months. New ideas continue to emerge, and together with the ELVA team, a plan for implementing various new modules in the future has already been developed.
